You can speculate on just how far his hairline recedes beneath his ever present bandana, and you can slag off his band Poison, now celebrating 25 years as one the 80’s most loved and loathed “Hair Metal” bands. But what you absolutely cannot do, ever, is suggest that Bret Michaels gives less than 100% onstage. His connection to his fans is visible, tangible, you can almost smell it. It’s a mutual crush between rock star and audience that is markedly different from the more aloof, arm’s length approach that many of Michaels’ contemporaries prefer.
