When Elizabeth Olsen walks into the room, she is both confident and gracious. It’s hard to believe that the well-spoken woman before you just graduated high school four years ago. But then again, this 22 year old is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, she has a lifetime of, at the very least, peripheral showbiz experience.

“Martha Marcy May Marlene” is a psychological drama about a young woman who escapes from a cult and is trying to adjust to the ‘real’ world. She keeps remembering events from the commune but isn’t sure if they happened. A dreary, slow-paced, choppy acting exercise.
