Believe it or not, Film Critics (the good ones, anyway) do not want movies to be bad. It’s hours out of our lives, too. And, one hopes, we got into this business in the first place because we love movies so much, and not because we’re turds who like to take potshots.
There is often something worthwhile even in bad movies. Maybe it was a good performance or, hell, even great set design or lighting. My point is that, while I may have given out lots of C’s and D’s, I only saw a few films that got the very rare “F.” So, I’ll skip a 10 worst and just tell you about the 3 worst movie going experiences I had in 2011.
